they charge 800$ for the crown cuz they can....

it suks but what u gunna do...:mad:

i realize bike parts cost alot to make in relation to other sports, but 800$ for a crown is excessive...

Be careful not to overtighten it and to not hit trees. Nosedives out of the sky are hard on it to, just like any other fork. It shouldn't break. Overtightening WILL weaken it significantly, just like anything else. If you really need one, get a Danger Boy, they are way less.

I'm also willing to bet you lbs isn't going to charge you 800 bones for a new one. Did you ask about it?

Ya, I think DangerBoy is around $300.

$800 is the quote I got from my LBS!!!.....:eek:
