Finally my local park have seen sence....
there is hardly anyfin to ride there, so we were all getting pissed off, usually people start hopping onto benches and things, totally wrecking them!!!
so the grounds staff have agreed to build skate ramps for roller bladers and BMXers AND dirt jumps for Mountain Bikers....
I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!! just thought id let u people know.
Ride on

DOPE.
That's awesome! Someone saw a problem and went about fixing it instead of bitching everyone out!
Show absolute respect to anyone who put any time or effort into that, cuz they deserve it. And be respectful and don't hop onto benches :P

Its calm, that means we can work with the parkies now :D Great :D Totally stoked about this.
Thats sick. You guys are lucky your government cares like that, you didnt even have to ask! I mean, look at the leeside thing, people will have to pester if they want anything done about that, as a substitute or whatever.
(Not whining though, I know we are lucky over here, im jsut saying!)

yeh we are really lucky...we suggested it once, and they said they cudnt because of legal reasons, but now they have changed their mind....we were bout to write a pure formal letter as well.....so now no worries:P RIDE IT!!!

I rode muck about xc stuff with mates on my old universal and townsend style bikes from about 10 to 15ish. dunno if that counts though?

course it does, thats where everyones early mtb roots and basic skillz come from......... i used to ride xc on an early 14"specy stumpjumper.
nice frame, if i still had it i would build a nostalgic xc bike up!
