do any of you have a diagram of a spiral? we
have to submit a plan for every thing we build to at our
bike park to a committee and it would be great if any one could
help out.

omg i was thinking about a huge spiral thing thats like 50 feet high, pretty wide so you could get some speed and control and you just fly down, around......like a constant berm:) you could put the entrance at the top of a small cliff face, go down and exit below..........that would be so nice....that would probably get you in a big vid (like that hampster wheel, or cowans loop did)
wow......loops, hampsterwheels, spirals.....haha good stuff:D

I don't think too many have been built, But I don't think the plans would be that hard to draft up yourself...

basically the concept is getting a good center piece.
i dunno what matt hunters was built around but the center piece is the key.
imagine building it around a tree.....then you basically have runs going outward from the tree at slightly different levels to create the downhill spiral.
even if you dont use a tree if you can get some solid wood that is deep into the ground then you have a good center area and somthing stable to build off of.

We have one of those, but the guy was drunk when he built it, so it's not the right angles to ride :(

ahem...
BAHAHAHAHA
Sorry man...this is the first thing that's made me chuckle out loud in a while. *still snickering*
The woodlot has one...woodlot gold I believe. Big stump, make sure it's pretty tall at the top since you need enough space to make it under without hitting your head. More than one turn would require a LARGE main post.
