So what would everyone say to meeting at the top of Crank it Up at about 1 tomorrow. Massive NSMB rider train down CIU and Heart of Darkness and then anyone who wants to has lunch together at the bottom? I'd like to put some faces to usernames.
Could be a fun way to send off the season and I figure that everyone can be involved and have fun on that trail.

Cool. I will be wearing the worst red Hawaiian shirt you ever saw.
I'm going out now to see Weezer but I like the idea so spread the word and I will see as many NSMB'rs as short notice allows at about 1 at the top of CIU.
Any photogs or video people who want to show up would be good too.

davem will just wait for you at the bottom - this sounds too much like a race for his comfort.

Soooooooooooooo.....
That didn't really happen. But it was an awesome day and I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did. Sliding in the snow up top especially.

Yeah I though that might be a big issue to a few people. truth be told I was late there as well since I had some minor shifter issues up garbo and had to run singlespeed for most of the day

Looks like an X7 to me, mine did the same thing a while back. Turns out it mounts back in place, and works rather well with a lot of duct tape holding it on.

Yeah it is X7. I ended up zap strapping it to the handlebars and hoping that I could end up changing the odd gear but there are bigger issues with my drivetrain than just handlebar attachment so I think I'll have to spend some cash.
On the plus side the freebie Hayes Stroker Ace brakes that I tried for the first time yesterday are absolutely sensational and will be replacing my juicy 7's long term.
