The dirt was not delivered this weekend, so next weekend the dig will be happening. If you can't make it no worrys, thanks for the support. The dirt should be delievered during the week so it'll be next weekend....again sorry.

The downhill will be open for practice....The dirt jumps still have to be made so I doubt you can practice on them...
Thanks for the info. Some of my friends are planning to check out the downhill course this coming weekend. How long does it take to hike up to the start?

where is the DH course? I've never heard of Blue mountain. are blue mountain and woodlot one and the same? if not what are the trails like up there?

Nah, Blue isn't as far as Woodlot. It's sort of the same but not at the same time.

how do i get to the course? i need instructions.
ill prolly come practice the course and make my decision whether to race it or not. i dunno how helpful i will be digging dirtjumps when im not competing in the comp :???: but i will for sure bring a shovel and lend a hand :D

Actually the Woodlot is the east face of Blue Mountain. Race the Ridge will be on the west side of Blue Mtn.

The Dh race will be the 19-20th of April right? i dont think i can come help dig, im helping on the shore trailday.

DH and Big Air Venue at Blue Mountain
Travelling East to Maple Ridge on Lougheed Highway, enter Maple Ridge, turn left at Dewedney Trunk Road (Wendy's & Timmy Ho's), continue on Dewedney to McNutt Road and turn left, up the hill to the fork in the road at the mail boxes and go left, The gate to enter the area is just ahead on the right.
Travelling West to Maple Ridge on Lougheed Highway, turn right on 272nd St, continue north to Dewedney Trunk Road and turn left, right at McNutt Road, up the hill to the fork in the road at the mail boxes and go left, The gate to enter the area is just ahead on the right.
Parking: Parking is only allowed on Blue Mountain Cresent(it's a big loop) - you will be directed where you are allowed to leave your vehicle. There will also be security patrolling the vehicles throughout the event.
Road Venue in Pitt Meadows
Travelling East to Pitt Meadows on Lougheed Highway, turn left at Harris Road (McDonalds), travel about 4 km to Silver Bridge start area.
Travelling West to Pitt Meadows on Lougheed Highway, turn right at Harris Road (McDonalds), travel about 4 km to Silver Bridge start area
Parking:There is limited parking in the parking lot at Silver Bridge, otherwise you will have to park on Harris Road.
Town Crit - Maple Ridge Town Core
Travelling East to Maple Ridge on Lougheed Highway, turn left on Dewdney Trunk(Staple's) follow Dewdney all the way past 224th. At the flashing green lights(Big Horse Clock) make a right and enter the underground parking. The Start/Finish is located in front of the leisure center.
Traveling West to Maple Ridge on Lougheed Highway, turn right on 227th, turn left on Dewdney Trunk. Go through the lights at Edge st and at the flashing green lights(Big Horse Clock) make a left and enter the underground parking. The Start/Finish is located in front of the leisure center.
