steves knee is fine, he was even riding without a brace all weekend. I heard he caught his minute man on original sin then had a huge crash shortly after. too bad he was riding really fast.

Yeah apparently both Steve and Drew had crashes on their race runs. Friends watching on Monkey Hands said Stevie and Drew were by far the two fastest guys through that section, both of them three ways of side ways throwing up a huge roost ... and after 15 minutes of DH course behind them ... SICK.

The Kovarik as a Canadian is a funny story that goes back a few years... Yes, there is an engagement to a Canadian DH'er (pardon the pun) but this is even funnier.

Several years ago, when travel was a little easier CK was having trouble with his visa/travel documents for a race..... so he signed up as a Canadian. Voila! Problem solved! Now he occasionally shows up as CAN.

FTR, I think we should keep him.
