I admire ppl who ride gnarly steeps without armor. Obviously crashed enough to know what not to do and how not to crash again...

MY EYES! MY F^$*&ING EYES!
On a side note, Lee is amazing at the steeps. Just a friendly reminder, when he says "Follow Me"... only do it if you know the trail!

damn Sharon, I was just about to eat!!
I've been riding the Fluid LT2 this year and gotta say it's a fun bike! For me it's as XC as I'd go and still eats up the gnar.

Lee what's up with that luggage? You running away from home? You'd be better off shaving those legs as opposed to simply rubbing off the pelt on rocks!

Hey Lee, I own the same bike and was wondering if you are getting the same brake howl from the rear brake that I am getting. Apparently it has something to do with harmonics and the seat stay? I dunno but sometimes it gets a little annoying when you are trying to modulate going downhill. Otherwise it is a fantastic bike, wait till you get your 2009. The spec on those is even more pimp.

Norco will replace your seatstay with an '09 square tube design if you're having the howling vibration issue, contact your shop/dealer. Both Lee & I had this problem on the LT1 w/Juicy Carbons & LT2 with Juicy 5's. We both swapped out the rear brake to non Avid which also cured it.

Strange that the Juicy Carbons would create that sound. I really don't want to have switch the brake out so I'll reasearch the seat stay change. I'm gonna have to do the same with my 2008 Shore. Their hanger design was not very good and they have made the appropriate changes for 09. Hopefully we can get the color matched stays for our 2008's with the updated designs.

I'll let Lee chime in more on this, but my understanding is there will be matching coloured stays for your 2008 LT in the redesigned 2009 replacment stays.

Nice, yeah those upgraded stays would make the bikes that much better (they are already awesome).

He does ride with armour, it's just called scar tissue..hard won over many years i believe.

Very impressive! My brain can't quite fathom that steep of a slope and what appears to be a slower descent, obviously in great control. I'd love to see a normal and slower mo vid of such so I could understand the body dynamics/technique etc better to even think of such. ie. how best to lift front wheel before reaching base of the steep rock to keep control and not plant the front when you hit the base of the steep..(ie. keep it leading and moving over the terrain)
Thanks for posting the fine pics and thanks to your photographer Lee!

Hmm, maybe a Mudbunny fundraiser is needed so Lee has a second helmet. One to wreck and the other to hang on the wall as art.

Are the stays the biggest difference between 2008 and 2009 models?
