So, the powerline July 4 race is almost always greazzy. It goes over and through
rain forest and close to the wettest place on earth.

The red stuff is clay and real slippery, the whitish stuff is also clay and even more
slippery.
Edit: 12 miles total (and it's ALL like that). 8 straight up, no down or leveling off
until the top (~300' @ start top is >2200') then it's ~3 mile up down (1/3 up, 2/3
down). These shots were taken at the beginning of the down.
