Drew is spending the next two weeks in Quebec preping for the World Cups in Ste Anne and Bromont. He's finally finding his race form after coming back from a serious head injury he suffered early last season. Hope to see some good results!

Big healing vibes to Ewan Fafard. He crashed hard in practice and smashed his clavicle, cracked a couple of ribs and bruised his liver. He was so pumped on this race and even moreso the 2 upcoming World Cups.

He'll be even more hungry next year.

I watched Ewans crash from the gondola... he went down so hard. I watched him a bit in practice and he had some really sick unique lines! On a brighter note BC took 1st thru 6th in my Category(U17). BC destroyed in the mud!! Also it would be great to see some photos if anyone has them.

Had surgery a couple days after arduum and now have 2 ti screws in my hand. The cast comes off on the 22nd and I start physio the same day. I'm hoping to be back on the bike by the second week in August.

Isnt surgery great brant. I had mine yesterday,1 plate with 8 screws. I'm not sure how long itll be but I doubt I'll be racing again this season. Now quebec hospitals, not so great, be very careful and get a second opinion if you get hurt in quebec.

That sucks ewan, getting hurt out of province blows...i've had a couple visits to some pretty sketchy quebec hospitals myself. try and get a sports orientated physiotherapist who works with athletes on a regular basis. aggressive rehab is the way to go!

Healing vibes to you Ewan. I saw you crash from the Gondola as well. Then in my Qualifying run I did the same thing you did, except I got away with just nasty nasty cuts and a F'd up bike. I'm with Brant, really agressive physio seems to be the ticket. Best of luck during the recovery
