Rainbow Heli Drop (Whistler)

Hey all. Wondered if anyone knows how long it takes to do Rainbow up at Whistler? I've heard about 3 hours but that seems quick. Anyone?

I have heard that if you just ride non-stop, it'll be over in about 2hrs. Not really worth it IMO.

I did it a few years ago with the guys from Ticket2Ride. I reckon it took about 4 hours top to bottom but we were pushing through a lot of snow at the top and taking loads of photos.
The alpine section was excellent but once you got into the trees it wasn't anything special (just un-relentlessly steep!)

I did about 2 years ago and it took about 4 hours. You will hit the flank trail so once there you can pick a line down to the road. Gargamel is off there and some other pretty cool trails like Jaws. Sorry I can't recall exact directions but you'll probably find it.

Also, it is pretty cool just being up in the alpine so take time and smell the flowers in between ripping down.
