trails are in great shape. didn't see a single other rider this afternoon - everyone must be in whistler.

triplecrown - the first bridge has been fixed, second bridge lower down over the creek is in pretty bad shape but still rideable. funny how the trail seems so short now :S

ryans (or the "red r") - watch out for overhanging branches, lots of deadfall and debris on the trail. need to head up there with a broom. trail doesn't appear to have been ridden much but it sure is techy fun. last ladder to the gravel road is getting rotted out and fairly suspect, altho it did hold my weight :D ride it fast.

lower galloway (accessed from franks) - be careful on the old woodwork everything's starting to rot out. the ladder exit is gone from the first big log ride. also the last bridge over the creek - few rungs missing from the down ramp, but it's still rideable (at least for now).

i'd like to fix some of the woodwork but i'm having trouble finding someone to show me how to split cedar for rungs.

many thanks to all who have offered me help both with burke trails and woodwork. hopefully i'll be able to get some of the sketchier stuff fixed up so nobody hurts themselves.

Mark and I rode Triple and Franks today, all the trails were in amazing shape. Even got to meet Frank - nice guy

Did a double loop yesterday... Elevator, Dawg, Hustler; then down to the River - perfect conditions. Didn't see anyone else but did see evidence of a bear!

I've got 2 new beams cut and ready for debarking to repair the down ramp over the last creek on Galloway before it fails but only a half dozen rungs so far.
Hard for me to find time so anyone that wants to contribute can help by cutting a round or two of cedar (14" length) and dropping off at the site. http://bb.nsmb.com/images/smilies/more/clap.gif
Down ramp needs to be ~12 ft to clear the wet section so need ~30 rungs. I like to overbuild a bit on the sturdy side so we don't have to keep repairing the same sections.

Next project is probably to repair the down ramp off the log ride exit from Franks to lower Galloway.
