The new models of the Crank Brothers Mallet pedals are out, so the old models are going on sale! 25% off all our mallet selection. Mallet C's are going for $106.30 with tax, and the Mallet M's (light weight!) for $149.61 with tax. If you want to get clipped into a great pedal that doesn't jam with mud, this is a great opportunity!

It's tempting.. but it would be to replace my current pair of Mallets. So only the M version would make any sense, how light are they? Oh, and how much are the new Mallets?

On a side note, the spring on one of my Mallets seems to shift sideways and lock up the engagement mechanism, I've never heard of this happening before, are mine defective or is there a fix for this? Also, do you carry rebuild kits?

I don't have the new pricing for the mallets at the moment, but they aren't too far off the current models. We don't have rebuild kits in stock. The issue with your pedals, did that always happen, or is it something that has developed over time?

I haven't used these pedals all that much over the time I have had them, but I don't remember this happening earlier. I am assuming it would be due to wear and tear (and it only happens one on side), but I can't see an obvious reason for it to start happening. Thanks for your time, it is much appreciated.
