Just for a day...

Anyone else planning to go? This will be my first time. I printed out an old thread with advice on which trails to hit, so I got a plan :) but if someone else is there and doesn't mind showing the n00b around it would be appreciated.

Oh and a quick stupid question. Where do people leave their bikes when they go for lunch / beer? I got a lock and everything, do I just lock it anywhere? How secure is the place? Do I need to lock everything (seat, front wheel etc.) or just the rear wheel is enough?

I certainly wouldn't let the bike out of your sight for lunch / beers. For lunch locking in the village a regular U lock will be okay. Find a lunch spot where you can mostly keep watch on your bike and things should be okay.

It was fantastic. I can't wait to go again! "Craik it up" is by far my favourite trail, I did 4 or 5 runs on it and every next time it was just better and better. I think I covered all blue trails I could find, all were alright but I didn't go to the black yet. Too much traffic on the weekend and lack of skill on my part.

Ya did great up there Vlad,.. was a pleasure turning a couple laps with you. The couple pale ales in the Long horn went down good as well.

I don't think I can do this weekend, I will either be in US or helping with the trail day on BBY mtn.

cyclist.ca could you link the thread with the advice on what trails to hit first? We'll be heading up to whistler for the first time after I get a car sorted out and it would be good to know the advised order to try the trails out.
