Well, after school I decided to hit up a trail that me and some homies built. It's really fun, but short. The top is good (want to build higher up) but the middle is logged out and we can't build anything until they take the trees away. Then the lower part that is super short but is smooth. Lots of uncompleted stuff: one of the "drops" had no.. landing.. and a corner or two needs to be built up. There is so much potential lines. We have a couple huge senders planned out, and a lot more length Also we haven't maintained the lower half for awhile since the logging because it is most likely just going to get ran over. Hopefully the logs will get taken away soon!
So I rode all alone,it was my first time in awhile due to a hurt shoulder.I used a ghetto helmet cam rig with my point and shoot (consisted of a bolt, 3 washers and 3 nuts) I filmed the hizzle. It's really bumpy I know, its cause its attached to my old helmet which the outer shell is loose from the foam.
Just a quick edit check it:

And, the ultimate ghetto-ness:

I see your point. The North Shore trail builders make it look so easy!

Where is that? I fell in love with Merritt trails all over again going as fast as we could down Ziggys, JP Cool then over to Ursus Major. So fast and flowy

Nice vid! If that's where I think it is, I took a drive up there today... Is it right up above the golf course? There is a lookout up there with a canadian flag?

:) same region. to the right of the flag; you can see the flag from the trail head but its in the distance. there are only 2 official trails that begin at the flag point, and one that ends at the flag. The place is riddled with dirtbikes but has soo much potential IMO.
LeeLau: If you come into town from Kamloops on the coquihalla the trail is on the hills on the right, immediately next to the highway. Lots of residential developing going on. The area is known as Bench, but some call it Swakum Ridge. Ziggy's and JP cool are on the coutlee plateau, and theres another plate of trails on Iron mountain (connector is at the bottom)
