Dear Ladies,

My better half needs your input. She wants to get in shape, and since she no longer does horse back riding, she seriously thinks about getting a bike :D

She took a good look at a bike shop at the 2007 Norco Fluid 2.0, Fox equipped, Lx and truvativ along with ritchey parts. Price is 1,500 Euros.

She thinks the bike feels great (cruising and pedalling around curbs and parking lots), the shop guy did a good job at adjusting the bike to her needs (new stem, handlebar etc)....and now she wants your input.

She will mainly use it for easy to beginner singletrack adventures with me.

Thanx to all of you. :)

If the bike feels great, that's the most important part. Get her to try out a few more bikes to make sure it's the best feeling one for her. The Fluid is a really capable bike, Lee Lau was riding one all last year and seemed to really like it.

Solid bike - good warrenty - good parts. You could go pretty far with progression on a Fluid - sounds like a deal!

Thanx for your comments...:D Gosh, I love nsmb....:) She just bought the bike. Picks it up next week, I ordered a Norco Manic.....in orange... so I do not really have the urge to go full throttle...:)

I wish you were here so we could take her out on a bunny ride.

(you don't really ride the bunnies, you ride the bike with the Muddbunnies, just in case you were mistaken.)

No worries :) and much appreciated. She will read this later on ....and I guess I can convince her of a short trip this fall.....really hope so. For some nice and easy () singletrailing. :)

Just picked 'em up.

My better half is now a proud owner of a green anodized Fluid 2.0 with a Fox Vanilla fork and a Fox air shock....boy is this sexy.

Me is having a hardtail for the xc-ish rides.

All is good. And life even better

We took it out for a spin today. Some easy singletrails and she absolutely  it. And she was really amazed at what a granny up front is capable of.

I just need a bar with more rise on my Manic. A bit too xc-ish....which is weird.

Some riding pics of her third trip, a couple of weeks ago.

Along the way we had to climb over "deadfall".

On our way we surfed some nice singletrail.

Later she was just happy to be back near the car. Although she said that she wants some more downhill stuff. :)

:( I really wanted to - she insisted on trying her winter horse riding gloves first....no joke. So I said "Take 'em but do not moan that they are waay too hot and moist." ....

;) Just kidding (Gf right beside me, you know the girls don't ya?). ;)

She digs the Sombrio women's gloves tho. And she cannot believe the pricing of some companies...
