More details to follow soon, but I've heard that the date is set for another BMX Clinic in Abbotsford for us ladies.. Feb 10th. I went two years ago and it was a blast. It's a real treat to ride in February and be dry/warm. Makes you wish for summer...

I've been wanting to buy a BMX bike for a while now... maybe the clinic would be some motivation to make it happen. The clinic could be the intro I need as a new BMXr.

I shouldn't complain really: I'll be spending the day watching the World Cup at Cypress with the kids that I coach...

Be sick... I fully promote not attending Dance when you can ride your bike. Far more rewarding... and Heckler's Better 1/2 is going to be there. Didn't she invent the party?

Can you sign-up last minute? Say the Friday before.

And I realize details haven't been finalizd yet but what time did the clinic start and finish last year?

i think the clinic is around 4-5 hours (with a lunch break) so it ends up being pretty much all day. it also takes about an hour to drive there and another back. i think last year it started around 10.

Last year's clinic started at 9:30am and ran until 3:30pm but I think we even ran over 3:30pm too.

And yeah, count on at least an hour to get out there and another hour to get back from North Van.

BMX Bikes, Hardtails, and short-travel, suspension bikes (5" and under) are the best bikes for this clinic.

that's not a bad thing, considering bmx bikes are fully rigid. basically what you're learning what to do is to make your body be the suspension, rather than the bike. it's all about being relaxed, and loose, elbows and knees bent. it may be a "bmx" clinic but you're going to learn things that will totally help out on a trail.
