there's been snow up high there on them shore mountains since early last week ...

yeah, the break in clouds was good starter - the snow on the hill a damn big cherry. time to unpack the rock skis

we had 5" of WET snow in town,lotsa broken trees cuz they all still got their leaves which catches the snow .Went up to the ski hill where there is about 18" and hiked for 1st turns of the season

yesterday up to 2-3 feet deep in drifts up on top of Mt Strachan (Sky Chair).

but freezing level was pretty high and it was melting.
