That just made my day / week. Can't wait for the season to get underway!

For those of you who care, I was up Seymour yesterday afternoon and it was snowing from the base of Mystery up.

Clearly the future of ski movies!

I just came back from Seymour, snowing at the CBC parking lot.

I did a quick skin up to test out the new gear, went to the top of the Mystery chair. About 12-24" up there, I definately had to take it easy on the way down to avoid hitting anything.

I am so stoked for the season!

Followed your tracks up for a quick tour this evening. Ended up taking a less conservative line down (on my Scratches so I am not to concerned about them getting intimate with a few rocks). Sloppy conditions but what more can you ask for in mid October.

haha, ya I definitely took a bit of a conservative line down to avoid the rocks. Did you find you hit many?

sloppy conditions but like you said, it is mid October!

Surprisingly I only grazed a couple. The most troublesome spots were those water bars on the lower section of the run. Felt a couple of rocks there but that was probably because I was jumping over the ditches.

A buddy and I went back further today and did some beacon practice. We skied better stuff this time and, like you said, surprisingly only grazed a couple times.

It was freaking wet up there though. Rain didn't become snow until the BC Parks backcountry access sign.
