Let's say Thursday oct 18th. 8pm at Interriver Park in North Vancouver. Bring a beacon, headlight, batteries, and a stuffsack or plastic bag or whatever to put your beacon in. Rain or shine I suppose - we play hunt the beacon.
PS if you don't have a beacon it looks like we have enough to go around anyhow

sounds like fun, lemme know when you move it up here
I think I have to go out of town for work that day.
I also don't have a transceiver yet. Once I pick that up I'll be out to these for sure!
I have to go to a rock show that night. I can't make it.

This was a great refresher!
Thanks to Lee, Sharon, the weather gods for making it stop raining, and the guys that hid the beacons for me to find :)

thanks for everything Lee.
that book has a wicked cover ...
Yep, thanks for arranging this! It was interesting to try out a multiple burial scenario. Someone (mattj?) made a good point about knowing how to switch off (or set to receive) all beacon models in your party.

Actually Sharon made that important point - I just repeated it in your guys circle... :)
Thanks for the instructions guys! Here's hoping to never have to need it!
