View Full Version : Avalanche tranceiver practise party

Let's say Thursday oct 18th. 8pm at Interriver Park in North Vancouver. Bring a beacon, headlight, batteries, and a stuffsack or plastic bag or whatever to put your beacon in. Rain or shine I suppose - we play hunt the beacon.

PS if you don't have a beacon it looks like we have enough to go around anyhow

I think I have to go out of town for work that day.

I also don't have a transceiver yet. Once I pick that up I'll be out to these for sure!

Yep, thanks for arranging this! It was interesting to try out a multiple burial scenario. Someone (mattj?) made a good point about knowing how to switch off (or set to receive) all beacon models in your party.
