After receiving some helpful constructive criticism from another forum, I went out again today and shot some more downhilling. I focused more on getting rider exposure nailed, and I think I improved on that.

All made with a 1D and listed lenses. Your comments helped me a lot with this shoot. Comments and constructive criticism are always welcomed.

Yep. Some nice ones, crisp and clean.....maybe some work on the general composition? Dunno really, since I am not a pictureman.

Try creating more contrast between the rider and the background. I wouldn't use any remote flashes or any flash at all, just try playing around with different angles and exposures...

How would I go about creating more contrast without getting a completely dark rider? The backgrounds in the woods tend to be a lot brighter than the front of the rider. I tried to use my artificial lighting to make things look natural.
