Anyone know of a good long ride on the SSC? Ideally would leave car in Horseshoe bay, but would take it across if needed... I know you can connect Langdale to Roberts Creek offroad, and I don't really want to ride the Rat Race trails again. Any ideas?

ride on, climb hill right at top into sprokids park;
climb up to sidewinder-102-103, this puts you in roberts creek trails, connect anything you like to add distance then back the way you came. do you have the dirty little secrets map? if not, ride the hwy to roberts creek trails stopping at spin cycles to pick up the map book and carry on.
or: ride the hwy to sea schelt and ride the BCBR day 5 course. great fun but not as much bang for the buck.
there are a dizzying array of trails between langdale and roberts creek. it's like the new squamish

I was thinking epic 2 lane highway slogs en route to logging slashes, followed by a size 10 to the grapes

How did it go?
Regardless - you should have come to Whistler.

It was awesome, except we discovered "Mexican Jumping Bean" was no longer there, after being suckered down the fire road... So 40 minutes of ATV trails later, we found singletrack again. All told, approx 75k of SSC goodness. Including a rip down the Rat Race DH course on my Odin. I'd like to do it again when it's a little more dry, and hit up Red Baron/ Viper/ Cunning Stunts...
